Quality control

Gimpex Limited has a reputation for its commitment to quality, performance and service. The company has a fully equipped and well-organized laboratory, staffed by highly qualified and well experienced Scientists and technicians in the field of mineral sampling, testing and analysis. The lab is equipped for sampling and sample preparation, chemical analysis, flame photometer tests, sieve test, determination of specific gravity and bulk density and high temperature fusion tests.

The laboratory handles routine sampling and analysis as well as Research and Development investigations.

The Company has standing arrangements with Scientific and Research Institutions like Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), etc, for special investigations with XRD, XRF, AAS, ICP, PSA etc.

Gimpex has developed its own testing and quality control for all its minerals. There are dedicated staffs appointed at each of the locations where Gimpex carries on its activities. Most of the locations of Gimpex have in house testing facilities to provide in-time reports for the material processed and produced. Gimpex also uses the service of third party inspection agencies to monitor and control the quality of the minerals right from the time they leave the mines.
